We started Ember Strata after years working alongside OC managers and watching the same problems play out, from the inside.
Where we came from
Ember Estate Agents began as a boutique property management agency, built on a simple premise: quality matters more than volume. We kept the portfolio small and the standard high.
Working daily alongside OC managers across dozens of properties, we saw the same problems from the inside that lot owners were experiencing on the outside. Emails going unanswered. Maintenance requests disappearing. Committees left guessing.
We started Ember Strata to do something about it: boutique OC management, run by people who knew exactly where the problems started.

My background is chemical engineering. I spent a decade managing large industrial teams and complex budgets in environments where precision is a requirement, not a preference. The cost of a missed detail shows up fast.
Those habits transfer. Whether you're running a plant or a block of townhouses, you still need someone who keeps tight numbers, follows through on every item, and gives you a straight answer when something needs attention.
I moved into real estate because I saw how much better it could be done. Ember Strata is what that looks like in practice.

Ember Strata sits alongside Ember Estate Agents as part of a boutique real estate group covering Melbourne's south-east. Residential property management on one side, owners corporation management on the other.
Both run on the same values: small portfolio, high standard, and you actually get to speak with the person managing your property. We service Bayside, Kingston, Frankston and surrounding suburbs, and we intend to stay boutique.
